Spanish on Wheels
(Español sobre
ruedas)
Español sobre ruedas
is a program designed for private and public
schools who wish to incorporate Spanish language and culture classes
into their early childhood and elementary school curriculum. We
offer two types of programs: during regular school hours and after
school. We work with students from nursery to seventh grade.
The goal of this program is to provide
exposure to Spanish through routines, children’s stories, songs and
games in order to develop listening and comprehension skills.
In this program we will create an
environment where children can begin to use simple words and phrases
to respond to commands related to routines and various activities,
as well a to respond to familiar stories.
In this program teachers facilitate the
process of exploring some of the Spanish practices, products and
perspectives as a way to naturally help the students compare the
Spanish culture with their own.
If you are a parent, PTA representative, or a
school administrator who is interested in starting a Spanish program
at your school, please contact us.
