Cultural Rotations
Our
curriculum has evolved in the past few years to be a very cultural
based program. Last year we were able to successfully introduce
Folklore Dancing and Art to our classes. We believe that
“Language is culture in motion. It is people interacting with
people.”
For this
year, we have created a new renovated version of cultural activities
that will keep the children involved and interested in continuing to
develop their language skills.
The
children will come for two hours, and they will see four teachers
and do four different activities. The rotations will be scheduled
for 30 minute sessions.
As you
register, you will receive your child’s rotation schedule:
Reading,
Cooking, Art and Folklore
We will
register 12 children per rotation.

Thursdays
from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

6 - 7 “All
About Me Program”
10 - 12 "The World and Me"
“Native Spanish Speakers”
The
Native Speakers are a very special group in our school. They are
children who have the opportunity to listen to Spanish beyond our
center, either through family members, friends, or caregivers. They
provide the environment where Spanish is a Mother Tongue, have a
positive attitude towards the acquisition of the language, and
maintain the emotional connection to our language and culture.
