Saturday Spanish
Language & Culture School
Welcome to our Cultural Saturday
Spanish School where children come and enjoy four different
workshops and have fun, learning and developing their language
skills by doing hands-on activities. Register your child’s favorite
language activities and pick two, three or four workshops from your
Saturday School. For families that want to expend Saturday with us come from 9:00 to
1:00 or 10:00 to 2:00.
Art Classes in Spanish:
an exciting learning
experience that integrates creativity and free expression, while
children explore different mediums. Art and Spanish are great ways
to experience the world of color and communication where curiosity,
exploration and fun are allowed.
Cooking Classes in Spanish:
a fun class where children learn
about Spanish traditional recipes from Latin America! We will
explore different flavors, smell interesting aromas, and taste
exquisite Latino treats, while learning how to cook and bake en
Español.
Latin Feet (Music & Movement):
a
dance class that introduces
children to the Spanish Language and culture, using music and
creative movement. Learn the basics of Latin Rhythms.
Literature Class:
an age appropriate class, that
provides the children the opportunity to listen to stories that help
them learn and internalize basic concepts and havefun while
listening, acting out, and doing choral recitation with their
teacher, as they complete their own version of books they read in
class. This program is also offered on Thursdays and Fridays from
4:30 to 6:30 PM, children come for two hours, and enjoy four 30
minute workshops.
